The airport is essentially a "day" airport. This means that only aircraft based here are allowed to land after 11pm.
Over the years, much effort has been made for the neighbours.  SOWAER (Société wallonne des aéroports) has set up a large house soundproofing programme for those living in the vicinity of the airport.
A SOWAER-Environment office is available to the local population.
